This policy describes how we handle information in connection with the GlyphStage mobile app and this website.
Information we collect
We do not require you to create an account to use GlyphStage. We do not sell your personal information.
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send (such as your email address and message content) so we can respond.
This website may use standard hosting and security logs (for example, IP address and browser type) as provided by our hosting provider. We use those logs only to operate and protect the site.
App purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment and account data they handle.
Location (GlyphStage app)
Location is optional. If you allow access, the app uses approximate place once to align twilight and the solar path with your sky. We ask on Museum Home or a face detail screen—not on first launch (Welcome). If you decline, the app uses a timezone-based estimate. Coordinates are stored on your device only (including the App Group shared with the Home Screen widget). We do not use location for advertising or tracking. Weather-related faces are aesthetic; GlyphStage does not use Apple WeatherKit in 1.0. You can change or revoke access in iOS Settings → GlyphStage → Location.
Third parties
We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
Children
GlyphStage is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete the app from your device at any time. Email us if you want help with a support request or have questions about this policy.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the date below.
